This email was in my Inbox this morning and having had a brief scan of the attached document it seems that I now need your response given your ‘Christmas Letter’ to me. The “balance’’ you say you are seeking in matters such as this will take a little while to settle I suspect and I therefore look forward to your response and assessment of the situation in due course.

At the moment it appears that further questions may well arise and you are well  placed to see the situation from a broad perspective.  I’ll await your response in the near future – and with considerable interest.
