Re: Bald Hill Rd Drainage Works

Hi!

Thank you Cory the images and information, it is good to have.  However, as you might expect, I contest the notion that  trees shown “need to be removed” or even that they are at the end of their life (useful or otherwise?!) unless of course you regard it as being a sure thing that the council will come along with chain saws backed up by a self-serving and bureaucraticly LAZYassessment.

Apart from the COUNCILthreat  there is no independent evidence that’s been presented to me that they are indeed diseased or dying OR that there is no alternative to removing them. Assertions do not constitute evidence and neither does the provision of advice translate as ‘permission’.

There is a video of the ‘January-flooding-event’ at the bottom of Forest Rd where the Trevallyn Rivulet(?) comes out that you should look at. Sadly, I’ve been unable to track it down so far today so I can point you to it – you may already know of it?!.

Anyway you may well recall the damage to a driveway at that point and there are significant implications to that up Bald Hill way and the management of storm water in the municipality generally – and Trevallyn in particular!

I’ll share your images and there may well be other who’ll want to join me. Yes lets meet and I’ll call you soonish!

Regards,

Ray

Good Morning Ray,

As per our conversation yesterday please find attached a street view and aerial view showing the trees needed to be removed for the repair work that is required to the stormwater infrastructure. I will be happy to meet with you onsite and discuss what works are required to be undertaken.
